Prompt #22 Insects

As we move into Spring flowers begin to bloom, trees blossom and we see growth everywhere. In this season out come our friends “The Insects”

Can you write a poem about Insects or an insect?

If you would like, when you send your poem in to poemoftheday.jaxton@gmail.com consider sending it to the Anthology request below. Wouldn’t it be wonderful for this Anthology to be crawling (lol) with Australian Children’s Poetry.

Read the guidelines carefully as submissions need to be informative as well as creative.

An Anthology request:

  1. Sorry Jeannie my dear – it was a great idea, but I might be the sole ACP representative with any luck (I don’t mean with any luck no one else submitted, but with any luck they take at least one of my three). Submissions closed on 5th Oct. I think they may have to have been unpublished – I’ll check – before I send them to you. You may get some fantastic poems anyway – I hope so. Did I send you a blurb about John’s and my poetry collection – our poems ‘in dialogue’. Launched by Judith Rodriguez two weeks ago? You do put in relavent ads sometimes I think?
