The weekly prompts were so popular last year I decided to run them again so to kick off your creativity for the year, here’s #1.  Keep in mind that you are writing a poem for children, so cast your mind back to how you thought and felt when you were young. Email your submissions to me at traffa-m@bigpond.net.au as a Word or Text document attachment and add a line or two about your writing process.

Throughout this year, I’m also planning to run more interviews with poets on the site, and more guest posts about the craft of writing poetry for children.
