INSIDE OUT
I found a box
I saw ‘inside’
though what’s inside
I could not see.
Without a doubt
it’s inside out –
outside ‘inside’
just stares at me.
Perhaps ‘inside’
should be inside,
and ‘outside’ shown
externally
But no, ‘inside’
was outside wrote –
What’s ‘writ’ inside
perplexes me.

Hello Teena. I wonder if any teachers have written to you about how useful your site is? I’m chairing a panel on children’s poetry in Brissy next month – oh yes, I think it might be on your website, if not it should be. A gala array of Sally Murphy, JD Poulter, June Perkins, and me chairing it. But I’m going to give your site a plug, suggesting people use it in class, and I just wondered if you had heard from anyone using it? Sorry I haven ‘t sent a submission for a while – been very busy.
