Scarlett is 10 years old and her Dad sent in a few of her poems. She reads our poem of the day every day.
the lion roars and
the wispy grass blows as
it’s mane burns in
the reflecting light
the rain sparkles on the green leaves
the clouds clear on the sunny day
near a flowing stream
where the birds chirp
and right here
we lay
Scarlett Mika
What beautiful poetry Scarlett.
Thank you very much for your comment 🙂
Scarlett, you’re a wonderful poet. I especially love the image of that lion in your first poem. And how gentle the second one is. It’s like a tiny meditation poem.
They gave me a wonderful start to my busy Friday. Thanks for sharing your work here. 🙂
Thank you very much. I appreciate your comment. 🙂
