  1. A wonderful little piece with a touch of loss describing both an insect and likely a human’s journey. Amazing how our words can be shaped subconsciously and poems that were forgotten since childhood re-emerge to start anew.

  2. I enjoy your poetry JR Poulter, especially this one, the similarities to the nursery rhyme but a new twist. Time moves on, even for mother Ladybird!
